On November 18th 2013; Vijaya Varusha Karthigai Karthigai, Thirukarthigai was celebrated in grand manner at Sri Adhikesava Perumal Kovil Divya desam, Mylapore, Chennai. In the evening, purappadu for Perumal with Ubhaya nachimars accompanied by Peyazhwar took place followed by witnessing the Sokkapanai bonfire.
